Ready for Carnival “Thai Nguyen Tea in Vietnamese Soul”

According to the information of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the hosting unit of organization for Carnival, until the end of October 2011, the preparation was completed. The Department worked with Beyond communication information advertising company who presented ideas and implemented; the scenario was approved by Festival Organization Board; groups of art creation, musical composition were established; units began to practice from September 10th; in general, the gathering, constructing stage, stand, models of the carriages decorated with flowers were completed. Accompanying with the preparation of material facilities, force of performing actors with more than one thousand people from 13 blocks, units participating in the march of Street Festival has practiced promptly, etc. On 5th of November, the Organization Board will implement to approve in general and in particular the total program.

In Carnival, there will be the performance of nearly two thousand people with more than 20 vehicles, the carriages designed according to many topics. The propaganda parade will be taken place with 3 main activities: the parade with carriages, the opening and art performance to welcome (there will be the art fireworks); Thai Nguyen tea Carnival 2011 (representatives and people will join the street dance). The parade carriages will be divided into 3 parts: Part 1 includes the leading vehicles of the Security force, car with Coat of arms, Uncle Ho’s picture, car with the symbol of Thai Nguyen province – the hostess of this Festival, the model car with the symbol of the Tea Festival. Part 2 includes 5 cars with the topic: The greatest tea , Thai Nguyen tea in Vietnamese soul, Thai Nguyen – tourism and love rendezvous, the bridge span of peace and international exchanges, Thai Nguyen greets the International Tea Festival 2011. Part 3 includes the model cars of enterprises and districts, towns in Thai Nguyen province. Each model car has the special aspect, its appearance will be decorated according to the specific cultural character of each region. The models in Ao Dai – the traditional costume – having the tea pattern, they will wear the tea flower diadem to present for the alias “The greatest tea”; thousands of actors in the clothes of tree and flower with hats decorated under the form of bunches of tea flower, the original branch will perform the strong and funny movements; actors in the clothes of workers, farmers will express tea production, praise employees with tea plant; actors will play the fairies with the blue, thin silk ribbon, they will turn their hands to make the sparkling surface of the Nui Coc lake, on surface of the lake, there will be a couple who act as Mr. Coc and Ms. Cong and they will present the infatuated dance…

Especially, 16 models selected from the contest “Miss Tea-land” will wear the traditional costume of the participating countries in this Festival; 40 international visitors will perform in the sudden inspiration, etc. The funny specific of this Carnival is clowns, stilt walkers parading and performing martial arts, the lion dances shows the performances of climbing the pillar, catching the ball, the team of animal-puppet, human-puppet… All these acts will create the happy, jubilant and highly enthusiastic atmosphere and bring the sublimate feeling to every participants. The decisive topic of the program is “Thai Nguyen tea in Vietnamese soul”, the goal is to introduce the culinary culture of tea, the contests through the art performances of gathering tea, processing tea, rubbing tea, making scent and packing, etc. and products of green tourism: “Towards the green tourism area to enjoy tea”.

Scenes will be taken place lively by the arranged and realistic art, in which some scenes are created by art images, other scenes are the real photos of human and the daily work in localities, etc. The imposing, merry car train will be regrouped from the top of Doi Can street and move in the route: Cach Mang Thang Tam road – Gang Thep circular island – No. 3 highway – Dong Quang circular island – Luong Ngoc Quyen road – Hoang Van Thu road – Doi Can road. All three blocks will parade and move in the music of 15 songs which praise the Party, the native country, Thai Nguyen people and this music will be divided into 5 correlative parts to 5 separate topics. Along with the procession, there will be people, the internal and external tourists coming to Thai Nguyen to join the Carnival, and they can mix with the joyful atmosphere, can participate in performance, dance freely in the animated, merry and enthusiastic music of the northeastern ethnic groups, etc. Those things will make the friendly, impressive street festival as the heart of Thai Nguyen people – the organizer of this Festival.

Accompaning with the impressive, original street dance, on the 20-8 square and along the couple road, there will be the stage which combines with the surrounding scenery to make a forest on the low hill, and when combination with the light and the central LED screen, it will be a green big picture. In this place, there will be a special art program to greet the Festival with 6 parts: Festival itinerary, Ceremonial to open the festival evening, singing on the palm forest, tea hill, carnival ballet, dance on the tea terraced-field, and Thai Nguyen of the present aspiration. The program will be the online television on channels such as VTV1, VCTC of Viet Nam Television, Thai Nguyen broadcasting-television, etc.
