Attending the meeting were leaders from the Provincial Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Service, the Provincial Financial Department and some other provincial agencies as well as the steering committees for labor export of 9 administrative units directly under the province and nearly 20 related enterprises.
In the first ten month of 2007, there were 1,611 labors exported to a variety of markets such as Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, Middle East, raising the total number of exported labors of the province to more than 6000 persons. The meeting focused on some outstanding issues such as reasons for labor export limitation as well as additional suggestions for 6 solutions on local labor export promotion in order to reach the target of more than 2,500 labors exported each year from now to 2010.
