In the first eight months of this year, the implementation of agricultural, forestry, and fishery production plans has faced many difficulties due to the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic and dangerous infectious diseases in livestock herds. However, the Department has overcome problems, closely followed the guidelines and orientations of the central and provincial governments, and actively implemented the assigned tasks.

At the meeting, the Department's leader hopes that the province pays attention to leading, directing, and allocating resources to implement programs, schemes, and projects in the field of agriculture and rural areas in the period 2021- 2025; prioritize the allocation of local budget sources to implement the Schemes on development of key agricultural products, centralized water supply in rural areas and continue to have a mechanism to support cement in infrastructure development.
In addition, the Department also proposed the province for adding one deputy director of the Department to serve the tasks of the Department.
In conclusion, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee praised the Department's results in recent years. She asked the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to stick to the guidelines and orientations stated in the 20th Provincial Party Congress Resolution, term 2020-2025, and the provincial socio-economic development plan, focusing on implementing the issued resolutions, programs, schemes, mechanisms, and policies.
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the Department needs to prepare resources to implement the digital transformation more robustly and strive to be top the leading departments and sectors in digital transformation, thereby helping farmers quickly access the market, promoting consumption of agricultural products. Along with that, the Department continues to advise on implementing mechanisms and policies to develop key products of the province and focuses on promoting the Thai Nguyen tea brand.
Regarding several proposals, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee directed departments, branches, and localities to coordinate and advise the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to decide, then report to the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee according to regulations.
