Since the first COVID-19 vaccination campaign, ministries have implemented a digital vaccination data platform nationwide to control and review vaccination data. In 63 provinces and cities, 12,000 accounts have been issued to health workers nationwide, with 59 million shots updated. The orchestrators strictly and securely control the platform. However, the platform uses the public internet with a large number of accounts. The vaccination data has not been fully updated on the number of injections. There are also errors in the information of the vaccinated person.
To solve this issue, the ministries of Health, Public Security, and Information - Communication will coordinate to review, correct, and update the information of individuals in the coming time. At the conference, localities with significant population mobility such as Ho Chi Minh , Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Bac Giang informed about the difficulties in updating injection data and proposed many possible solutions.
The leader of the Ministry of Health said that more than 80 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have now arrived in Vietnam, requiring the digitization of vaccination data to be done quickly and the participation of ministries, branches, and localities each local.
Concluding at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Minister of Information and Communications, emphasized thatàrom October 20, it is not acceptable that people vaccinate first and then update information on the system. Accordingly, provinces and cities must use only one software to update vaccination data, striving to complete the review of vaccination data by November 11.
