On September 13th, Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee had a meeting with the other provinces, such as Cao Bang, Lang Son, Bac Kan, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Bac Giang in order to make a mutual agreement on activities to respond to the International Tea Festival.

Comrade Dang Viet Thuan, Member of the Standing Committee of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Vice-chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, presided over the meeting.

 

At the meeting, the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported the organization of the Festival. Namely in districts, towns of the province, there are many activities to respond to the Festival, such as propaganda, broadcasting with hoardings and banners in the central area, mobilizing the local people to preserve sanitation of streets and hamlets, etc. In company with those activities, propaganda, broadcasting, financial mobilization, reception, logistics, security, and construction of material and technical facilities to serve the Festival have been implemented on schedule. The provincial leader announced the guest scale, organization time, program structure and supporting activities, etc. of the Festival to the other provinces.

 

At the meeting, the leaders of the province and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism cleared up the other provinces’ queries about preparation work as well as some supporting activities of the Festival, etc. The other provinces fully concurred and presented the plan and contents which they would participate in. Almost provinces registered for participation in 3 to 6 activities of the Festival.

 

Comrade Dang Viet Thuan thanked the other provinces for their enthusiastic participation in the Festival’s activities and proposed mobilizing the local enterprises’ participation. He requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to be the contact to connect more closely with the other provinces during the implementation of the Festival’s activities.
