Ten teams from ten communes and town of Dong Hy District participated in four parts of the contest including the fastest picker of tea leaves with right techniques, introduction and costume, knowledge, and talent. All the candidates showed excitedly their talents, beauty as well as knowledge of tea planting, cultivating, processing and preserving techniques.

This was an opportunity for all candidates to exchange, inquire, share experience, enhance the knowledge of tea plants and honor the image of the graceful and proficient woman in tea regions. This contest was also to popularize and introduce traditional tea products of Dong Hy District, to concurrently propagandize the purposes, meanings and activities of the Tea Festival.

One First prize, two Second prizes, two Third prizes and five Consolation prizes were awarded at the end of the contest by the Organization Board.
