Breakthrough solutions to help Thai Nguyen in top 15 leading provinces on digital transformation

On September 22, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting with the Department of Information and Communications on the task implementation and consultation for schemes, programs, plans to develop the provincial socio-economy from the beginning of this year to now.
In the first eight months of 2021, the Department consults for the Provincial People Council, Provincial People's Committee to issue 13 Resolutions, plans to deploy the information and communications development strategies. The Department reviews and proposes to reduce from 25 to 30 percent of the time to solve administrative procedures under its management and implements the Digital Transformation Program. The Department strengthens the digital transformation on activities of the offices, units, and locals towards three targets: Digital Government, Digital Economy, and Digital Society.
Some positive results are 100 percent of level 4 administrative procedures implemented on the Provincial Online Public Service Portal, C-Thai Nguyen App, surveillance cameras, online meeting rooms.
Besides, the Department also promotes the key products release, non-cash payments; deploying school management software at 100 percent of educational institutions; managing online health information to 100 percent of commune health stations; put into operation the provincial intelligent tourism system; put into use the Information Security Monitoring Center, thereby detecting and preventing over 118 million illegal queries and scanning on the local information systems, preventing over 17,000 attacks on the system network.

The Department ensured the connecting information activity. The mobile phone network covers 100 percent of hamlets, wards, and towns in the province.
At the meeting, the Department proposes some content such as accelerating the scheme's progress to establish Yen Binh Concentrated Information Technology Park, training human resources on information technology, and allocating funds for these activities.
In conclusion, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai praised these achieved results, especially the digital transformation task. Regarding the upcoming jobs, she requested the Department to continue to deploy the information technology applications as C-Thai Nguyen, implementing the solutions to attract people using online public administrative services, accessing the software in solving petitions and complaints, and supporting the telecommunication enterprises to cover the wave in lack of information region.
The Secretary assigned the Provincial People's Committee and agencies to research and solve the Department's proposals.
