Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee welcomed Korean investors

In the afternoon of May 29th 2014, at the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee office, Mr. Duong Ngoc Long, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee welcomed Mr. Kim Beak Soo, Director of Gyeongmin, Korea and some secondary investors and consultants on administrative formalities (photo). Leaders of Management Board of Industrial Zones, representatives from related departments are also present at the meeting.

When knowing Gyeongmin Company, Korea and Yen Binh Investment and Development SJC has investment cooperation, Mr. Long gave a brief introduction to Mr. Kim Beak Soo about infrastructure investment of Yen Binh industrial zone and Korean projects are invested here. He confirmed that the local investing environment is very stable and growing, public order at the industrial zones is always maintained.

 

Mr. Kim Beak Soo stated that his company is carrying out initial investment steps on the project of  building multi-storey workshop at Yen Binh industrial zone. Currently, the company is cooperating with Vietnamese consultancy  to promote the progress of required investment procedures. If licensed, the company will launch the factory building area with a total of 6 buildings, 6 six-storey for each building. At present, there are 50 Korean enterprises investing in Vietnam and over 100 enterprises in Korea are committed to rent their factories for manufacturing. Thus, they would like to get certificate of investment soon.

 

The President of Provincial People Committee acclaimed the investment effort of Gyeongmin Korea and also confirmed that Thai Nguyen province will actively cooperate with consultancies and investors to promote required investment to issue investment certificate for the company. The province will be responsible for asking permission from related Ministries about building multi-storey workshops with height exceeding State regulations so that the company will be licensed soon.
