Investigation into investment information in Thai Nguyen
On 15th February, the delegation led by Ms. Aiko Mihara, representative of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), a representative office in Ha Noi, and Ms. Bui Thi Hong Hanh, representative of Viet Nam NC NetWWorke Joint Stock Company, worked with leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment to seek opportunities for investment cooperation in Thai Nguyen Province.
In the working program, the delegation expressed their desire to investigate information about the industrial zones and clusters of Thai Nguyen Province in particular and the northern provinces in general, especially the sites, enterprises which have workshops for rent so that Japanese investors (mainly small and medium-sized enterprises) invest in any sector that can be put in production immediately without waiting for building workshops.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Minh, Director of the Planning and Investment Department, made a brief on information of Thai Nguyen Province’s potential, especially the contents related to prices of land rent, electricity, water, etc. in the industrial zones and clusters in the province; the success of investors, especially foreign investors in Thai Nguyen including some Japanese investors. However, he also emphasized that investors’ demand of renting workshops to produce is a new area to Thai Nguyen. Thus, the province would acquire and research the delegation’s proposal of the delegation and expect that the delegation collected investors’ demand every year and informed the province soon so that the province would have bases to meet if Japanese investors actually needed.
