Open up opportunities for laborers

Thai Nguyen Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in collaboration with Thai Nguyen city and Vo Nhai district in the first months of this year organized two job sessions to introduce nearly 13,000 job positions, with salaries ranging from VND 5 million to VND 20 million per person per month. The efforts of enterprises to gain the dual goal have opened up many new job opportunities for laborers in the province.
On the Job Festival Day held in the middle of April at Thai Nguyen City, Mr. Jung Kwang Ho, Deputy Director of SR Tech Co., Ltd in Song Cong City, said: "Our company has just resumed production after the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, we need to recruit 1,000 employees, in which our priority is given to skilled and experienced laborers."
Over 200 enterprises resumed operations after the impact of the pandemic is a good sign in the first months of this year. In particular, there are more than 150 newly licensed enterprises, with a total registered capital of over VND 2,000 billion, increasing 7.2% compared to the same period last year. For examples: DONGWHA Vietnam Co., Ltd. South, more than VND 3,800 billion; GO! Thai Nguyen Supermarket, VND 540 billion...According to the Provincial Employment Service Center's survey result, nearly 2,400 out of 4,000 enterprises have increased recruitment activities. Particularly in the first five months of this year, the demand for labor recruitment increased by 15% compared to the same period last year.
The electronics, industrial electricity, refrigeration sector account for 30%, need to recruit many workers manufacturing components such as technicians, assembly technicians and electronic engineers. Textile, garment, and footwear industries account for more than 20%, with the demand sewing workers, line technicians, sample sewing technicians, goods inspection staff, textile workers. The service industry accounts for nearly 10%, need to recruit customer service staff, product packaging... The mechanical and automation industry accounts for 11%, with the demand for mechanical technicians, hydraulic, mechanical engineers, design and manufacturing engineers, machine and equipment operators, robotic engineering workers. The business and trade demand to recruit many job positions, including sales staff, sales, sales assistant, sales supervisor.
To product efficiency and ensure COVID-19 prevention and control, employees at Bjsteel Vietnam Co., Ltd (Song Cong 1 Industrial Zone) are arranged with an appropriate working distance.
Along with recruiting laborers, many enterprises introduced thousands of labor export targets to Taiwan (China), Japan, Korea... In particular, Hoang Long Construction Investment and Human Resource Supply Joint Stock Company (Hanoi) recruits 1,000; Amschool International Joint Stock Company (T.P Thai Nguyen) recruits 300; ICO Group (Thai Nguyen Branch) recruits 500.
As a "bridge" in the labor market, the Provincial Labor Service Center has many solutions to support units, enterprises and employees. For example, only in the first five months, the Center has collected information and the recruitment needs of more than 1,500 enterprises, consulting and introducing nearly 6,000 employees.
The enterprises are implementing the dual goal effectively. Most businesses and employees have adapted to the complicated happenings of the COVID-19 pandemic, building flexible production and business plans. Many large enterprises in the province tend to diversify production and business activities; expand training programs to foster and improve skills for employees, especially the technical and informal workforce.
