Organization of countryside market’s culinary culture and country’s cultural products

With the aim of introducing products, goods of Thai Nguyen Province, special produce of other regions in the First International Tea Festival in Thai Nguyen in 2011, Tourist Promotion Center (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) made plan of holding countryside market’s culinary culture and products of national culture which takes place from 8th to 15th November 2011 alongside the axis of Hung Vuong street, Trung Vuong ward (Thai Nguyen City).

With the scale of 120-180 booths, there are about 60 booths of units directly under Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism from other provinces, 50 booths of foods and beverages, etc. In countryside market, there will be products, dishes cooked by traditional methods and divided into four areas: Area I: Displaying and selling Thai Nguyen trade villages such as artistic wooden furniture, bamboo products, Bo Dau Chung Cake, Viet Cuong noodle, bun, gio cake, etc. Area II: Displaying and selling products of food: Bao Thai rice, corn, peanut, sesame, etc. Area III: Food and beverages area: Introducing traditional dishes and specific products of areas, regions, etc. Area IV: Broadcasting image, introducing tourist places, etc. In addition, there will be some booths of fresh tea, dried tea, fruit, etc. and folk games serving tourists.
