Accordingly, the project has requested the locality create conditions to build a waste treatment plant with a scale of 200 tons per day, located in Yen Binh Industrial Zone (Pho Yen Town).
As designed, the project will be implemented from 2022 to 2025, with an investment capital of about USD8.3 million. In which KOICA supports USD8.1 million, Thai Nguyen province reciprocates USD0.2 million.
When the project is licensed to build and put into use, it will improve the efficiency of domestic waste treatment in the province through classification and collection, reducing landfilling and burning of household waste, strengthening solid waste management capacity.
