Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee directed the related units to survey about 1,000 enterprises and cooperatives to evaluate the indicators for assessing competitiveness at the department, sector, and local level (DDCI) in February and March 2022. It aims to create positive changes in the business investment environment and the PCI ranking position of Thai Nguyen.
The assessed subjects consist of 20 units, including 11 Departments, agencies, and 9 cities, towns, districts.
The survey methods are conducted online and in-person at enterprises and cooperatives. The DDCI component index in 2021 comprises 8 indicators, including transparency and information access; time cost; unofficial cost; fair competition; corporate support activities; legal institutions; the role of heads of departments, agencies, and local authorities; and digital transformation level. Land access and stability in land use were also taken into consideration when making assessments of the localities.
The survey is a transparent information channel for businesses and cooperatives to contribute their ideas and also is the basis for the Provincial People's Committee to evaluate the direction and administration of departments, agencies, and localities. The final aim is to create a favorable environment for investment business activities.
The survey is also to research and develop appropriate solutions to improve the provincial competitiveness index in the coming years.
The 2021 DDCI result will be announced in April 2022, at the same time as the announcement of PCI result. .
