The Ministry of Health has allocated the 9th batch of the COVID-19 vaccine with 20,000 AstraZeneca doses for the province.
As planned, these vaccine doses will allocate to 27 units for injecting the first dose, including priority cases: medical forces, employees in enterprises, officials, employees in agencies, and units that have contact with many people.
In the 8th batch, the province injected more than 23.4 thousand doses for nearly 2,000 people receiving the first dose and over 21,000 receiving the second dose.
Thai Nguyen has allocated about 147.7 thousand doses of Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca vaccines to date. The medical force gave injections to approximately 88.6 thousand people. In particular, nearly 29.5 thousand people received the first shot, and about 29.1 thousand people received the second shot.
On the principle of injecting right after receiving vaccines, over the past time, the province has implemented vaccination quickly, safely, and effectively, with no cases of severe reactions to the vaccine.
