The chairman of the provincial People's Committee welcomed the PDSI Group
On October 3rd, Mr. Vu Hong Bac, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee together with directors of related departments met leaders of PDSI Group to continue listening to presentations on the project “West of Thai Nguyen urban area”.
At the meeting, Mr. Peter Dalkeith Scott, PDSI Group Chairman said that after more than two years of exploration, the Group highly appreciated the potential and opportunities for the tourism development and real estate projects in Thai Nguyen. The Group wishes to build in the west of Thai Nguyen City (also the East of Tam Dao Tourist Area, Vinh Phuc) a modern and smart urban area not only for Vietnam but also international with the subproject includes: administration buildings, golf yard, 3-5 star hotels, Luxury housing and resort, schools, international standard hospitals, shopping centers, solar power, waste treatment system ... Area of land for the project is expected about 250 ha; With a capital investment of $1.8 to 2 billion in the first 10 years. The Group hopes Thai Nguyen will soon approve the investment policy for this project.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee thanked and expressed his excitement to the project pursue determination of Mr.Peter Dalkeith Scott as well as the PDSI Group during the past. However, this is a large-scale project with the golf yard that requires the Prime Minister approval. Therefore, in order to have a basis to propose to the Government and other central ministries and agencies, the Group should continue working with provincial departments and sectors, in which the Department of Planning and Investment plays the main role, providing details about the location, size, form, schedule, overall implementation time of the project as well as each component project… For some proposed contents of the Group, the provincial People's Committee will report to the Standing Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council before the official reply to the Group.
